Linux Systems Installer and Engineer

Reel Amusements is looking for a Linux Systems Installer/Engineer to build, install, and support a custom server application running on CentOS Linux.

Qualifications for this position include:

	•Proficiency in Linux operating systems. RedHat/CentOS
	 is preferred.
	•Excellent knowledge of 100BaseT Ethernet networks.
	•Working knowledge of Virtual Private Networks.
	•Basic knowledge of MySQL command line interface.
	•Basic knowledge of DHCP and TFTP.
	•Basic knowledge of Apache Web Server.
	•Must be dedicated to providing excellent customer service
	 and posses excellent verbal communication skill with strong
	 analytical and problem solving abilities.
	•Effective organizational, written and oral skills required
	 to clearly communicate with and train clients.
	•Ability to clearly define a problem and a course of action
	 to resolve technical issues is also needed.
	•Ability to work well in a team environment.
	•Maintain accurate documentation for hardware and software
	 installations and maintenance. 

Working under limited supervision, daily duties include: server builds, backup and recovery of servers, Disaster Recovery, server monitoring, providing support to the clients and internal staff.

Reel Amusements uses a custom software server product running on Linux that interfaces with custom hardware via Ethernet. Linux skills are necessary and training will be provided for the custom server-side application. You must be able to travel and possess the motivation to work on your own as well as manage a team of installers.
